Dorcel invited Obvious to explore the futures of intimacy and desire through the lens of AI. For this creation, Obvious imagined how technology could question the future of intimacy.
Inspired by Philip K. Dick's vision of a possible future where AIs could become an entirely new species, they decided to represent a future of inter-species intimate connections, inviting us to question our relationship towards technology.
The calendar itself stands as a hybrid object, between sculpture and generative artwork. The outer layer depicts a serene garden scene; the inner layer unfolds an intimate moment indoors, an embodiment of passion. The third, deeper layer symbolizes the raw and hidden force of desire.
For the creation of the visuals, Obvious used advanced generative algorithms, including a niche set of diffusion models, to be able to explore new anatomies and aesthetics, while avoiding the different bias and censorship of mainstream models.

To mark the unveiling, Danysz Gallery hosted an immersive event where art, technology, and desire converged. The project was presented as both a visual experiment and a reflection on the boundaries of intimacy.
Through projections and installations, visitors entered the world of Obvious x Dorcel: a dialogue between data and desire, between coded imagination and embodied emotion, celebrating the poetry of future intimacies.
