Facets of AGI depicts the belief surrounding Artificial General Intelligence through a series of 22 masks, each of them a facet of intelligence with a fictional use attached to it. The masks were created using Generative Adversarial Networks on a large database of pictures of African masks. The series aims at questioning the belief in the emergence of an intelligence superior to the human one, a subject which divides humanity, regardless of one's level of information on the question. The masks were shaped by a Ghanaian craftsman from the images created using generative algorithms.
